The Northwest Catholic District School Board encompasses a large geographical area including the communities of Fort Frances, Stratton, Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Atikokan. The Board is committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities within a faith based, innovative learning environment. The successful candidate will assume the position at a date to be determined.

Reporting to the Superintendent(s) of Education, the Assistant to the Superintendent of Education is a member of Senior Administrative Council. The incumbent will work collaboratively with all schools with the Board in managing day to day operations, program, instruction, assessment and planning. The successful candidate will be assigned portfolios at the Board level and duties will be assignment by the Superintendent(s) of Education.

Required qualifications:
- Religious Education AQ;
- Master of Education degree qualification or a commitment to complete within two (2) years maximum;
- Several years of progressive educational school leadership experience;
- Actively practicing Roman Catholic.
