Superintendent of Education – Mathematics, STEM and Artificial Intelligence

The Sudbury Catholic District School Board invites applications for the position of Superintendent of Education. We are seeking a Catholic leader who will champion student achievement and well-being through system leadership in Mathematics, STEM education, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) learning from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in our innovative and growing school system.
As part of the senior administrative team, the successful candidate will assume system-level responsibilities which are reviewed annually by the Director of Education and may be adjusted in response to evolving system needs.
The anticipated start date for this position is August 17, 2026, or another mutually agreed-upon date.

 Current résumé outlining education, qualifications, and leadership experience;
 Copy of Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification;
 Evidence of completion/enrolment in the Supervisory Officer’s Qualification Program;
 Copy of Parts 1 & 2 Religious Education AQ (or equivalent);
 Current pastoral reference completed within the past six months;
 One-page statement outlining your philosophy of Catholic education and your vision for Mathematics, STEM, and AI education in a Catholic K–12 context;
 Two most recent performance appraisals (if available);
 Names and contact information for three professional references (to be contacted only with the candidate’s prior consent).
