The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board invites applications for the position of: 

SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION 

(Temporary Contract – 1 Year in Duration)

The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board is a progressive and fiscally responsible system of nearly 7000 students in 20 schools, including two fully-composite secondary schools, a French Immersion program, extensive special education programs and leading-edge curriculum services. 

 The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic who possesses:

• A Supervisory Officer’s Certificate from the Ontario Ministry of Education or a demonstrated progress towards the same;
• Progressive leadership experience at the Principal level;
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; 
• Team-building skills to facilitate effective, positive working relationships and
• Membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
