Applications are now being accepted for the position of Associate Director of Education – Instructional Services.

The Board operates a Catholic school system consisting of 125 elementary schools and 26 secondary schools with an enrolment of more than 71,000 students in an increasingly diverse community. With approximately 8,000 employees. We are one of the largest employers in the region.

The Associate Director of Education - Instructional Services is responsible to the Director of Education for the leadership, management, coordination and effective operation of instructional programs and services offered in 151 schools. The Associate Director leads a team of Supervisory Officers responsible for the leadership and management of families of schools, and system level instructional portfolios including Special Education and Learning Services, Program and Learning Services, Well Being and Experimental Learning and Learning Services.

The ideal candidate will bring to this position:

• demonstrated ability to build partnerships with parishes, trustees, Ministry of Education and other education partners;
• qualifications as a Supervisory Officer in the Province of Ontario and a record of excellence as a Supervisory Officer;
• Religious Education Specialist Certificate.
